Good driving roads in Vermont?

I would agree about the the Notch, it's kinda a drive
through and turn around deal, though. I have driven
through and kept going, but the best roads are the
other way, in the Sugarbush/Mad River valley. If you
drive out of Stowe, through Waterbury, keep going
south on rt 100. eventually you will come to rt17 in
Waitsfield. You will drive right past Mad River Glen,
it is a very steep winding road, very fun!! Follow it
all the way and you will meet up with rt 7, take it
south. This will take you through Middlebury, a
beautiful college town. Continue down 7 till you meet
up with rt125. this is another winding pass road, and
it will eventually take you back to rt 100, where you
can then go back north to Stowe, but not before going
through the Granville Notch area, which is very
beautiful.

Enjoy!!
