brake pedal gets slushy when held down

same thing as the other brake m/c post....the brake system is a closed 
system and the fluid only goes between the m/c and brakes. A pedal should 
not get mushy if you have a bad pwr steering pump or any problem in the 
servo/hydraulic system. The mushy pedal is probably air in the system. 
Bleed all brakes until you get all new fluid [fluid should be replaced 
anyway]. Also check the flex hoses for cracks and age. Change if it looks 
mushy or expands under pressure. Check for brake line leaks if you have 
drips. Last, the m/c could be the problem. Good luck.
