Finally bought an S6 Avant! ...should have been here by now, but shipping
hasn't gone as planned. As long as it shows up undamaged.
'95 S6 Avant mit Hoppen RS2 and ABT mods, purchased from Kent up at KAR.
Bought it almost on impulse...possibly one of the last times I'll be able to
be so impulsive with the kids growing up fast. When it finally gets here, I
expect to have that kind of grin on my face for at least a week. I'm just
so disappointed that the wife hates station wagons...
The "other" S6 is one I was going to buy. Cashmere/charcoal sedan with 65k
on the clock. Had it checked out by one of Lee's friends with car biz
experience who reports that it is indeed a beauty inside and out. Drove
tight and smooth and without gltiches except for the front passenger door
handle not working and about to be replaced. Antifreeze looked a little
tired, but new Mobil 1 was clean. Everything exceptional otherwise and
extremely tempting to him. Might have gone for it himself if he'd been in
the market for a car.

It's an independent dealer/car enthusiast who always finds a nice Audi for
the winter. The guy is very nice...Nick Besch (sp?).

Decided to post this because I'd been looking a while and this is one of the
best I've come across. Nice low mileage and less common color. Hope it
helps someone in the market for a bone stock car. If you want mods, Dave
Flag still had a nice black S6 at Autohaus. Of course, if my urq's sell,
there may be another S6 coming this way...for the wife, of course.
