sounds like you speak from personal experience? Or are you just thinking of
a good one for "next time"?

yep. I acutally did that for a stubborn allen bolt on my driveshaft (before
it stripped anyway). After it stripped I whiped out the handy dandy angle
grinder to level the head flush with the flange, then out came the sawzall
to cut the remaining stud by pulling gently on the shaft to create a gap
large enough to fit the blade in between the driveshaft cv and the mounting
point on the tranny. In fact, the action of the sawzall was enough to
rotate the bolt without having to cut it all the way through!
