MC using oil and fouling plug. - porting and polishing

Great, considering I can get another head for cheep, I
may rebuild, polish and port it. I will probably go
the cheep and easy route. How big of a difference do
you think the porting and polishing would make? I ask
because I'm getting ready to put Javad's old manifold
on with the extra injectors:-) I would like to do it
all in one weekend if I am going to put a modified
head on, but I am anxious for more power. I may just
have to be patient and do it right.
