How to Reprogram??

It should say how to do this right in the owner's manual.
After all, people do have to change batteries now and then.
For my '00 A6Q (can't say if it's the same), the procedure
is just to stand by the car, press the "unlock" button, then
use the key to unlock the car within a few seconds.
