Before you replace it, re-plug it.

The rear seat comes off easily with two screws under the front lip,
then look for a black box about 2"x3"x4" with an electrical connector,
some clear plastic hose, and a small 1.5" diameter cylinder on the top.
Unplug the electrical connector, check that the contacts are clean,
and plug it back in again.

My '89 100Q needed this done twice a year, spring and fall.
