Interesting suggestion. I've looked over the radiator and condenser but
realize now that one might be unable to see a significant accumlation of
debris, bugs, leaves, and other road trash if it was stuck well inside.
As soon as the weather warms a bit, I'll try that, maybe using some kind
of moderately soft bristle brush and see what turns up on the pavement
beneath the car.
