It's official, a 2.3 4000 quattro is amazing....

Actually...
The Lightwight received an upgrade late in January. In hopes of making
the CO Q Club Steamboat Winter Driving School event, the 2.3l was removed
and an MC1 was put in it's place. Combined with some QLCC code, a modified
K24, an intercooler many mistake for a radiator (it's pretty big), and the
flow master/straight pipe exhaust combo exiting the passenger side of the
vehicle... it really scoots right along. When we did the install, we also
swapped over to 5 bolt hubs, G60s, and Fuchs with some Hakka 10 knockoffs.
A fun car in every respect, and the light weight shell is working out as a
great test bed for different engineering concepts.

  Enjoy your revived 4kq.

Later!

I always run 93+ octane....never heard of a problem in a hot climate...A
few others have done this with no prob w/o switching the harness....I know
Semple runs his lightweight with the same deal as mine.
