Drivetrain/suspension clunk ('90 200TQ)

Sounds like A-arm or subframe bushings.
If rear of 200TQ is anything like my 4kQ...with rear of car up on
jackstands, you can jack up each corner of subframe (with 2x4 to distribute
weight) and identify excessive play in subframe bushings that you might not
be able to detect by hand or with pry bar.
I've heard that bad strut bearings can produce similar symptoms.
