got radiator fan?

When I took a heater blower fan motor into a motor shop to see if they 
could rehabilitate it (too much wear on a shaft to save), the repairman 
said a lot of Bosch electric motors have magnets that make them feel 
resistant to movement by hand when there really is no problem.
