rear brake questions for 5kcstq

Bringing car into wrench this week for new rear pads. However, he said the
rotors are fine, don't need to be turned. I always thought that one always
turns the rotors when changing pads, whether visibly they need it or not.
Opinions?

Also, it's time to bleed the brakes w/new fluid. I was thinking of
"upgrading" the fluid, like to Super Blue or Amsoil-type fluids. More
opinions? It'll have to be compatible with the OEM fluid that's getting
flushed out.

Last, pads. Fronts are OEMs--we're just changing rears. Would it make sense
to "upgrade" the pads? Or only if I do fr & rr? And, what have those of you
used with success? Car is a daily driver, not a racer.

t.i.a.!!
