Fwd: Audi 4kq VS. Subaru (short, true story)

Similar sitch this weekend: had the 5kcstq heading to Truckee/Tahoe w/g-f.
Worst winter driving conditions I've ever been in. Major blizzard + weekend
traffic does not a quick trip make. B/c conditions were so bad, speeds were
very slow--rarely above 25, so thankfully no one spun out.
I was amazed at the big rig drivers--first they have to put on huge chains
on huge tires (several of them!), then drive up washboarded snow and ice at
night in a blizzard. 20 tons of fun. (I like getting waived thru the chain
checkpoints; CHP flashed light on grill, looks for quattro badge, nods head
"ok".)
However, ding-dong in M-B 190 almost causes catastrophe. He has chains. He
is wiggling all over both lanes. People behind are honking, flashing
brights, but to no avail. Turns out he's gunning the throttle as hard as he
can, loses traction and slides, then lets up on throttle in confusion...over
and over and over again. Capital A-1 super dipshit. I'm guessing his dry
weather driving is as pathetic. I did the best I could to pass (had to do
it on the right, thanks guy) to get away. I hope no one got caught in his
fury.
Stay safe!
