Funny that this is the subject of so much controversy whenever it surfaces...
I've never seen a recommendation in any of my workshop manuals to do
anything else than clean the bolts thoroughly before reinstalling, so
that's what I'm sticking to- on the premise that the publishers would
probably want to avoid a lawsuit... I concur that some bolts are
notoriously heavy to remove (I use a 'cross-type' wrench to get the bolts
out, because it's easy to pull with your hand and push with your foot at
the same time). The 90q seems to have a recurring problem with the
right-front hub and the wheel refusing to part company, however carefully I
always clean both before installing (and rotating the wheels doesn't help
either). Must be an out-of-round issue somewhere.
