Replacing Head gasket

Hey all!

I have a feeling I might need to replace the head gasket on my Ur-Q... (a
little white smoke coming from the tailpipe while idling and starting up and
coolant level going down slightly but not leaking on the ground.

I figure it should be taken care of promptly.  Any suggestions on doing
this?  Anything else I can do while I'm in there?  About how long does the
project take?
