I was in Germany last week, Tihol. Rented a MB E220 CDI with 4000 km on the
clock. The brakes had the thump-thump option - the front rotors were already
warped. Maybe there's a wee problem with the brakes on these cars. Otherwise
a great autobahn cruiser, though. Couldn't talk Budget into giving me an
Audi.
