Silicone MM hose

well according to a Samco rep that I spoke with, that hose is custom made for TAP and you can not buy it anywhere else. I have heard other listers talk about different replacements, seem to remember seeing something made of a small piece of exhaust pipe and rubber hose on both ends. 
if you are feeling creative check the plumbing section of your local mega super home improvement warehouse store.

Anyone found a cheaper source for the Samco Sport MM
hose(or something similar) than TAP?  I don't need it
to fit around the tear shaped TB since my new one is
round, about 2.75" O.D..  The stock KH hose is $75.
