Absolutely.  I have no objection whatever to the stuff all over
the wheel/brake disc and brake disc/hub mating surfaces -
that's a different issue.  Just not on the bolt.  And I've been
undoing wheel bolts since 1968 - some of the horror stories
here just don't gel with a properly torqued bolt.
