re. 272 sport cam and Jamex airbox opinions

Engine numbers designate KX motor..possibly different from factory as motor
came out of '88 or '89 Quantum, but I think original was KX too.

No discernable power loss at low RPM, maybe a tad bit rougher idle..no I
take that back, it idles smoother and sounds more blurblely.  New lifters
may have helped.

Anyway it doesn't stay under 1500 RPM for long.  Likes to shift at around 6
grand, thought will rev easily to 7, I don't think I gain anything
acceleration wise.

Still I look forward to the NG with 272 Cam, but this combination doesn't
make me rush to do the swap, especially since its my wifes daily driver.

A KX? I thought 85+ 4kq all used the JT....
