Before you check too much, make sure that the set screw on the actually
tranny input shaft is still tight. I've had these work loose twice (one on a
5ktq, one 4kq) horrid design.... You'll see this linkage just to the right
side of the clutch slave cyl. Easy fix, just crank it tight again with a
10mm driver of your choice and be done with it... ok use some locktite if
you must. Basically when these fail (work loose) the shifter starts getting
looser and looser, and usually by the end of the day your stuck with a limp
stick....
