s6 sunroof leak and compartment covers

I think the fabric edging on Audi sunroofs are for sound deadening more
than moisture sealing. I think Audi relies on its drains to prevent water
penetration to the cabin via the sunroof area. The drains are located in
each corner of the sunroof opening and pass through the A and D pillars to
drain to the ground. The front drains empty into the doorjambs just above
the lower hinges, while the rears empty just behind the wheelwells. Audi
recommends probing the drains with a 90-inch-long flexible cable similar to
the core of a speedometer cable to check against drain blockage. The front
drains get probed from the top down, the rears from the bottom up. This is
the advice Audi provides for V8's and I'm supposing it applies to all their
sunroofs because they're all so similar.
