Well, how do other manufacturers deal with it (there are such things as
self loading air-wrenches)? Also, if you are installing finished lug
nuts, they may be "cap" style, that is, the side that faces out would be
closed and finished. Wonder how assy line workers could screw that up.
FWIW, when I worked as an engineer, I and other engineers on our staff
successfully trained workers that even worked at minimum wage to assemble
fairly complex miniture assemblies. I would imagine VAG shouldn't have
THAT hard a time training it's workers. It sounds more like an excuse to
me.....
