Subject: RainX - another testimonial

When I was a kid there used to be a product called Glas Wax. It was a pink
liquid - it looked like peptol bismol - people waxed their house windows, car
windshields and anything else they wanted to shed water. I remember using it
on plastic airplane windshields and it seemed to last quite awhile. I never
had much luck with rainx. I picked up a few samples at the auto show and
used them when I knew I had a long drive in the rain. The first time I used
the wipers, (sooner or later you have to) the rainx was gone. I haven't
flown for a while but I would guess there are some aviation products that
still work pretty well.
