Maybe time to consider taxing vehicles based on length/displacement/weight
or some combination of all as many euro countries and japan does? This, in
conjunction with higher fuel prices, will drive our suppliers to consider
more favourable the merits of modern technology as opposed to the junk many
are selling today (directed mostly at US car firms but at euro too; I want a
mercedes v8 turbo diesel!!! or an audi 12 cyl TDI....heheh)
