JT to Turbo Question

    Well since I have dove head first into this turbocharging N/A motors
area I've learned a ton.  8.5:1 compression is perfect for a low boost
system.  That is the compression I am shooting for on my project 4 cylinder
engine, maybe even lower.  Then I will run 6psi to start with without a fuel
enrichment system.  Once I have the engine setup at lower compression and
6psi of boost then I will add a boost controlled fuel enrichment system so I
crank the boost up.
    Knock sensing is important.  A stand alone system can be added, and I
bet even one from a VW could be added to the JT engine, though the
distributor and such may have to be changed, which may be very simple or not
so simple.
