NAC!! Worst cars yadda yadda...

I agree with the "worst car rating based on personal reliability experiences"
theory. Many of the original / previous owners of the cars WE drive would
probably overlook the positive features of the Audi and rate them very low
because of the perceived reliability issues.
My first Audi was an 87 5KTQ I purchased in the early 90s. Although I loved
all the positive features of the car, I spent a disproportional amount of
time in the garage trying to keep it operating properly. With no real
support systems in place except a Bentley manual (which is very sketchy
compared to the VW Bentley manual I was familiar with & 3 X the price) this
was an exercise in futility. When I finally got every thing "fixed," I
immediately sold I before something else broke. Two days later, the "new"
owner called asking if I had ever had problems with the window as they were
now stuck in the down position and it was - 10 degrees. Welcome to Audi
ownership.
It was only the advent of the SJM, Audifans and other lists, which lured me
back - although I sometime wonder what it would be like to have a social life
outside of the garage.
