Brake pads

Regarding the Pagids, some don't have provisions for the anchor springs.  I 
have the yellow pads on my 91 2C (w/G 60 calipers) and had to drill and tap 
the pads to allow me to install the springs.  I assume Pagid regards these 
units as race pads where the springs are not required.  If you don't install 
the springs, the pads will rattle loud enough to attract the attention of all 
but the hearing impaired while wear notches in the calipers.  Great pads 
though, tremendous stopping power at any speed / any temperature (important 
in MN) and easy on the rotors.  Moderate dusting.  The down side is the cost 
~$210, but 60K miles and they are approximately 1/2 worn although no track 
events.
