WTF? Olds Cutlass Ciera? (yes, Audi content)

My previous car was an 1989 Olds Cutlass Cierra with the 3.3 V6 that was a great car IMHO (engine was still going strong at 168k when the car was donated). Don't know the horsepower but it was geared (in overdrive) for highway cruising...you'd go about 80mph without even trying, and the engine was still at around 2.5k rpms. (Got my first speeding ticket in it...) It even had respectable pickup for a stock car its size/class. Solid car, I'd recommend/buy one again.

The fastest I got it was about 105 or so and only that because the bouncy suspension was getting a bit scary. (I don't remember the rpms but it had more room to go.) I've never driven a 200 20v (or any audi turbo) so I can't really compare the experience. But still, hearing this story doesn't surprise me too much (especially if any serious modifications were involved).

my 0.02,
