FWIW,
I've talked with a couple people that have tried the Kumho's
and then gone to the RE-730's. Reason was not enough Dry Grip
with the Khumho's. They have noted that the RE-730 has much
more Dry Grip than the Khumho as well as better feel and
sidewall stiffness. In the wet they both seemed very good but
still not up to par with the (twice as expensive??) Bridgestone
SO-2 PP (Duh, much more expensive and advanced tire).
Anyhow, I've heard many good things about the Khumho but it
still seems to lack in Dry Grip. Great replacement for a Daily
Driver but for a 911 or a car that sees the track or VERY
spirited driving I'd go with something a little stiffer and more
sticky. :-)
Just my opinion though. I have yet to find someone unhappy
with the Khumho's (other than a couple that wished for more dry
grip but still loved them.)
