ATF to quiet lifters?

Britton Ingraham brought up a good point....make sure the ATF you try does
not contain silicone.

I spent some time on the 'net today but have been unable to come up with the
silicon(e) content of different ATFs.  From what I can tell, there is
Dextron, Dextron II, Dextron III, Type F and Mercron (sp?).  Is it the
newest flavours that have silicon(e)?

Anyone have knowledge (not guesses) on this (I just did my O2 sensor a
couple of months ago...)?
