Hey All

Yesterday my ' 83 CGT started having problems. I was driving down the
freeway and it just shut itself off. no sputtering, coughing or anything, it
was like I just turned off the key except I didn't. I couldn't restart it
using the clutch drop method either, I had to turn off the ignition and then
restart with the key. It did this 4 times on my way home from work (about
30 min.) All the guages looked fine, good oil psi, temps good, good
voltage. I thought maybe the coil was having a problem so I changed in a
spare one I had and gained about 200 RPM at idle, but I don't know if that
helped because I didn't get to drive it. Are there any sensors that will
cause that on a CIS - K-Jet car? Could it be a problem with the ignition
switch itself? Plugs were new last weekend, rotor, cap, and wires only about
a year old. Please help!

TIA
Matt Kramer
