My Bilstein BROKE!!!

Ahhh,
  Ok, that makes sense.  sorry, I'm so damn used to working on
4kq's with rear inserts that I almost forgot how the base on the
5ktq mounts.  Yes, I actually had that happen on a Jeep of mine.
It broke on a camping trip and we just took it off and kept
going.  Luckily with Jeeps (Live Axle) you can get away with
that and keep going.  THe shock has nothing to do with keeping
the spring in there.  But on a 5k that would be bad, basically
like having no spring in back.
