Ben,

I looked into various exhaust systems for my car, and determined i could
prolly get the most bang for the buck from buying components (
http://www.a-1performance.com/ ) is one place you can try. I priced all the
components for my 5ktq and it would have been about 220$ out the door with
high flow cat ect ect. Then spend 80-100$ or possibly less at a shop that
will install it all for u.

Stebro systems are nice and the stainless is a nice feature to have, but
aluminzed will last 5-6 years anyways and by then you might be in a S4 by
then :D

[So did anyone answer Ben's *original question*, about a cheap source for
Stebro? or a replacement system? Tess]

No! My original question I think got lost in some debate.

I unquestionably would like another Stebro. I'm just trying to find the
best source, I may resort to pulling the one off the silver 4000, as my wife
wants me to sell one of the cars, and I don't think I'd get anything extra
'cause it has a Stebro - thoughts?. I originally got a good deal from the
manufacturer, but sometimes you get things for less through a distributor.

Same question for Bilstein Sports. I'm finding sources for these to be what
I feel is too much, over $100 a strut. I'll definately not go with KYB, and
I'm not finding Tokikos for the car. I'll consider some of the adjustables.
I did not find any coil-over setups for the 4000Q. I have the Boge TGs on
the silver 4KQ,and they are not bad with stock springs, however I think they
will be a tad bit soft for this setup. So, unless I find some well
recommended alternative, I'll go with the Bilsteins, just who has the best
price.

BTW, these will be installed with APEX spring for a 90Q. With the 1.5" of
lowering over the 90 stock, plus a 1/2" higher, so these should be just
right with about an inch lower, and so was the price.

The project GTQ is moving along now, and I have engine together with T-Belt,
and 272 cam. I'll be putting more pics up shortly on my web site. It so
far looks, sob, beautiful!

TIA and best regards to all.

Ben
