I'm not sure if you need to but I would - 20 quid (ish) from Halfords, makes
the job about 150% easier and gives better results (or it did for me
anyway.)

Instead of replacing the MC you could try honing the bore and getting a new
set of seals - should be cheaper and if it fails you can buy an MC.
