  I'm not sure if you need to but I would - 20 quid (ish) from Halfords,
makes the job about 150% easier and gives better results (or it did for me
anyway.)

  Instead of replacing the MC you could try honing the bore and getting a
new set of seals - should be cheaper and if it fails you can buy an MC.

    thanks for the help so far regarding my brake prob on the 86 URQ. Looks
like
    i will be replacing the brake MC and prop valve. I have always used the
pump the pedal method before
    with a non return kit on the end of the bleed nipple.

    I know what to bleed first and in what order.
