[I have the 2.3 NG in my 90 80q. What besides more displacement is a =
positive about this engine?

Depending on exhaust manifold setup and some other trivia, this motor
develops around 135 HP in stock form.

10:1 compression ratio, big valves, knock sensor ignition are among some of
the goodies which get more torque and HP over the earlier 2.2l motors.
