Turbo information treasure trove

September 2001 issue of Sport Compact Car (which is a magazine I have never
previously read) has an EXCELLENT article about doing the math for sizing
turbochargers. Article has pressure maps, lots of formulas, hard-core
information, where to buy,  and rules of thumb, too.

The author, Mike Kojima, definitely knows his subject. If you are
interested in tailoring a turbocharger to a specific, particular
application, this article is a must read. (And those of us on the Audi list
who know me are aware that this kind of praise from me is rare indeed.)

The nine page article more than makes up for the total lack of interest I
have in 300 HP Nissan 200sx's, etc. I also notice that the boy-racer style
mag wheels are a lot like bikinis - the less of them there is, the more
they cost.

Well spent $4.25, and I plan to throw away the rest of the magazine after I
page through it.
