waterflooded engine?

hey guys. i just went to the carwash and used to engine cleaners that
sprays from the power sprayer.  now i didn't use full force and i stayed
away from delicate looking parts.  well i try to pull out and "jerk jerk
chug"  .  it is BAD.  i have to give it about 3k rpm just to launch.
see at about 2.8k rpm and under, its very bad. it jumps and chugs.  but
as it reaches 3k, it just explodes with normal power. so at 3 k rpm and
up, it runs normal. but lower...  BAD BAD.  i figured it was just
moister in something so i took it out on the highway to get some air
into the engine bay. well it LOOKED deserted but i got a ticket for
doing 96 in a 60mph. DAMn  6 tickets within 1 year of earning my
license.  a 16 year old with all points gone or achieved...however it
works.  looks like no more license for me :(  but still. what would the
water get into.  any help would be MUCH appreciated. thanks allot
