For a 4-speed to 5-speed manual swap, the tunnel needs to be widened a bit.
However maybe the automatic bodyshell already has a wide-enough tunnel?
You'll just have to do a trial fit when you're ready.

Yes, but I don't know if there were any Quantums with the 014 tranny.
Most if not all manual Quantums with the 4-cylinder will have the 013 5-speed.
Many Quantums were sold here with 5-cylinder engines which is a different
animal altogether as far as transmissions go.

No experience on autoboxes, sorry.  The 014 and 013 boxes are generally
strong manual boxes.  In fact, I have the original 014 from my 4000 with
its associated shift box sitting in my garage.  If you want it you can
have it for free if you'll pay for its shipment.  Or, here's your excuse
for another trip to the US! The ALMS will be at Laguna Seca in September...

I don't have the pedal stuff since I was doing a manual-to-manual swap.
