Slick 50

I believe the makers of Slick 50 actually ran two
engines. One with Slick 50 and oil, the other with
just oil. They then took the engines apart and
measured rings, cams etc. Their findings were that
the engine with Slick 50 had less wear. Who knows????
Maybe, just maybe, they were telling the truth. I
have found plenty of information agaist the product
and I though about not using it. But.......It's hard
to prove most products work, even regular oil. You
can't go around pulling engines apart and checking
wear and tear all the time. My point is, it never
caused engine failure in any of my cars and they all
ran it every 50k miles. I did blow up by dad's Ford
351 Windsor and his Toyota 1.8L when I was in high
school though. Guess what, my Dad doesn't use that
Slick 50 crap either. BTW: don't do what one moron
I know did. He put 5 quarts of Slick 50 in his
Thunderbird. It didn't cause any harm and it's still
running after 150k miles but damn!!!! That's an
expensive oil change!!!!
