1988 5KSQ: Interior lights won't turn off

Try to find the relay labelled (in your manual?) as the time delay relay
or some such name.

It will be the one that keeps the lights on for a bit when you shut the
door, usually until you turn the key on.  Unplugging it might turn
everything off until you find the source of the trouble.  You could swap
another one in to see if the relay itself is the problem.

There also might be an issue with your key/ign. sw. not sending the "on"
signal to that relay, but it sounds like that signal is still going
everywhere else, so I doubt that.

And you're sure the door switches are good?  Did you look at each of
them?
