fighting subframe captive nut: need advise

I think it is a common worry rather than a common problem.
 
> Why do I need air tools?  Is that because it is less probable to break nut loose with air tools? Or becasuse  it is hard to unbolt it in genaral?  I am going to take subframe to a shop to press bushings out and in.

Air tools: fast and easy - zip zip, a bit easy to overtorque if you are
sloppy though.

Hand tools: slow and sweaty - grunt, grunt, grunt.... but of course they
will work.
