Giving Up On 4kq Clunk

The unfortunate fact is that it is probably an accumulation of driveline
play - and there is a *lot* of driveline to develop play in these cars.
just think of all the gears and CV joints on the way to the rear wheels,
allow a fraction of a degree slop in each one, and the next thing you
know, clunk, clunk, with some shifting, starting motion, even steering
sometimes.
Although it could very well be a similar accumulation of suspension part
play, like it was on my coupe.
