Pasquale,
I would venture a guess there is a vacuum switch on the clutch for the
cruise control. Perhaps by pushing the clutch in the vacuum switch causes
the car to stall. Pure speculation on my part but worth investigating.
Perhaps others on the list could comment better on symptoms exhibited during
vacuum leaks. Hope this suggestion helps and Good Luck.
