Pilot Bearing

REPLACE THE PILOT BEARING! In one of my Quantum Syncros, the pilot bearing
broke, and locked the input shaft to the crank. This made the clutch
completely worthless. Since pushing in the clutch didn't do anything, it had
to be started in gear and driven home in first since it is so terribly
difficult to shift without the clutch.
Save yourself the trouble now, and replace it.
