eBay part seller caution!!!

hello audifans--

just wanted to pass along a warning about another ebay transaction run amuck.

the gist:

i bought 2 rear tie rods for a 4kq off ebay, $18.50 plus shipping for the 2. 
they arrived and were junk, the mounting posts had the threads stripped and 
the joints had too much play. i contact seller, he says ship em back. i do 
and ask for a full refund including shipping. he then conjures up a tale and 
accuses *me* of sending back tie rods that i supposedly took off of my car 
and goes on and on about me sending back my old parts, which is, of course, a 
total lie. he claims to have "marked the parts" and "knows" they arent his. 
well anyways. i sent him back *exactly* what he sent me, which were 2 totally 
useless pieces of metal that once were tie rods. some of his recent ramblings 
include "I'm saying the one that was not tampered with will sell. When it 
does sell.  I  may consider taking part of the money that is
received and forwarding to you. Time will tell. It will sell." this is in 
reponse to my asking what he plans on doing about this situation he 
completely fabricated. if anyone wants to read the ridiculous emails he has 
been sending about this situation i'd be glad to share them.
