Yikes, that sounds like a *minimum* to me.

One reason, maybe the only "real" reason I won't use the K&N's is that
their cleaning interval is half that the paper filter replacement
interval, and these are real bear filters to get in and out.  I think on
some of the turbos they are easier than the n/a engines?  maybe?

But anyway, unless your driven miles are real low, I'd think of cleaning
and oiling twice a year.  Heck, do it quarterly...
