No guarantee. I'm running 16 x7 ET45 (A4 Sport) and 205/55-16 and have
about 5 mm clearance up front from the steering knuckle (could be
increased by spacers or ET 37 rims, but I DO rotate) and about 8 mm out
back. Tire size (as in diameter, as well as width) has an effect, b/c the
widest part of the tire's section changes with the rim diameter. As an
example, the front clearance with 205/60-15's stock rims was closer to 20
mm than 5 mm. No BTDT with 17's on a type 44 10V quattro.
