4kq idle/warmup problem

weird.  the tach is driven directly by the coil/ignition system... and
this info also goes to the ecu to tell it where to hold the idle.  i
think your engine *is* idling at 1k, it's just missing a lot.  check
spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor?
