Heater Core Bypass: What is Hose size?

Well, I finally got the sedan back on the road and things were peachy for about one week.

However, to show it missed me, the heater core decided to start emitting wispy coolant fumes out the defrost vents: my heater core is leaking.  Whee.

Since my normal shop is slammed and can't get me in for at least a week to do the heater core, can anybody refresh my memory as to the size of the heater hose going into the heater core so I can bypass that sucker with a U shaped pipe?

I am happy (to be driving her) and sad (at the breakage), conflicted I am.
